The building was constructed at a cost of ₹30 crore and the construction was completed in 2022.The college was permitted to start classes from the academic year 2022-2023 with an intake of 150 undergraduate students.
Government Medical College Sangareddy is one of the eight new medical colleges announced and sanctioned by the Government of Telangana in June 2021. The Intake Capacity for MBBS Course will be 150 seats per year. Is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences and approved by NMC.
