Osmania Medical College (OSMECON), Hyderabad was established in the year 1846. The campus spreads over 20 acres of land. OSMECON is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The College offers offers undergraduate (MBBS), postgraduate (MD/MS/Diploma) and super speciality (M.Ch, DM) courses in different areas. OSMECON was previously affiliated to the Osmania University but now, the Institute is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences.

A three day international undergraduate medical conference organised by Osmania Medical College every year since 2010 is a juncture for the medical students to showcase their talents and acquire new skills by participating in a wide array of events ranging from presentations to fun sessions.

OSMECON provides a learning space for students to hone their skills and a platform to present their research. The ever-evolving array of events matches the expanding participation of students year on year.

The 10th edition of OSMECON is scheduled to be held on 8^th, 9^th and 10^th of August 2019. OSMECON 2019 celebrates a decade of bringing together the hungry minds and young pioneers of medicine under one roof. This edition promises better experiences, newer workshops, and attendance from across the country and beyond

OMECON is located at 5-1-876, Turrebaz Khan Rd, Troop Bazaar, Koti, Hyderabad, Telangana. Osmania Medical College Metro Station is at a walking distance (500 Metres) away from the College. Malakpet Railway Station is 2.9 km away and will take around 10 minutes to reach the College via cab. Begumpet Airport is 10.8 km away from the College. Students can take a cab or a bus to reach Osmania Medical College.
