Samarth Educational Trust is established by renowned educationist Hon. Mr. Arvind Gavali in 1988 in Satara. The main aim & objective to form Samarth Educational Trust is to educate the students in professional courses in rural areas.
To make his dreams true he started Homoeopathic Medical College in 1988 at Adalatwada a historical place in Satara.
In the beginning of Homoeopathic course, Diploma in Homoeopathic medicine & surgery (D.H.M.S.) & later B.H.M.S. course was started & it was affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Now since 1998 B.H.M.S. course is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
