Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College, Chhainsa, Faridabad, Haryana is an upcoming state of art medical college situated around 20 km from Faridabad, 65 km from IGI Airport, New Delhi and is at strategic location with just 2 km from Eastern Peripheral Expressway. It is associated with a tertiary care hospital which will cater to medical needs of the rural community of the Haryana state. The objective of the Institute is to lay a foundation and create advanced academic and research environment for medical and other health science manpower that would identify and deal effectively with peculiar problems faced in implementing a comprehensive rural health care package in the state of Haryana.
Dr. Gautam Gole, founder Director of this institute, is a well-known clinician, medical teacher, researcher, and health administrator with an astute sense of converting novel ideas into accomplishments. He has been former president of Haryana State Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India and has taken the field of surgery to new horizons in the state. He has been a pioneer in all spheres of Surgery including patient care, teaching and training, research, and medical social work. With his passion and hard work, he has established new and unique patient care services, new departments, started unique teaching and research programs, and trained clinical and research manpower to high standards.
