MVJ Medical College And Research Hospital (MVJMCRH), Hoskote was established in the year 2001by Venkatesha Education Society. It is located in Hoskote, a rural district of Bangalore. The college is approved by the Medical Council of India and is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences for conducting the medical undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna is the nearest railway station, which is about 23 km from the college campus. Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru is about 31km away from the college and the nearest bus depot is Hoskote BMTC Depot, which is about 4 km away from the college. Clubs and committees:
Medical Education Unit: The unit of MVJMCRH takes care of faculty development. It organises training for teachers in teaching skills & conducts workshops, seminars and orientation programmes for students and faculties. The unit regularly conducts programmes in communication and soft skills and basic life support programmes.
Health and Wellness Committee: This committee of MVJMCRH provides students with opportunities for development in all areas of wellness. This includes intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical and social through advocacy, education, services, and programmes. The committee encourages interactions, discussions and deliberation and inspires personal growth and holistic development.
Adolescent Mental Health Programme: Doctors from MVJMC&RH in collaboration with psychiatry and community medicine organise counselling for adolescent school students mainly to promote and protect mental health and wellbeing.
Rural Health Care Service: MVJMC&RH conducts rural health care camps for the benefit of rural poor in Hoskote Taluk and surrounding areas like Malur, Chinthamani, Sidlaghatta, Srinivasapura.
Art and Cultural Committee: The college encourages students to participate in art and cultural activities through various clubs including debates, science, art, music, adventure etc.
Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell: This cell of MVJMCRH is committed to the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women and takes active steps towards gender sensitization and elimination of sexual harassment.

Anti Ragging Committee: The committee of MVJMCRH makes sure there is no ragging happening on the campus. The committee regularly aware the students about the harms of ragging on socio-emotional development. The committee ensures compliance with the provisions of the regulations as well as the provisions of the law concerning ragging is in force. It also monitors and oversees the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution. The committee makes sure there is no ragging happening on the campus.
Student Welfare Committee: This objective of this committee is to always keep working for the welfare of the students. They keep coming up with new ideas with which they can make the lives of students easier. The committee organises various activities on the campus, which include annual sports competitions, cultural festivals, and celebration of the national days.
