K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA), Mangaluru was founded by the Late Justice K S Hegde, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India and Speaker of the Lok Sabha in the year 1999. KSHEMA is a constituent college of Nitte University. The college is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). KSHEMA offers undergraduate (MBBS, B.Sc.), postgraduate (M.Sc., M.Ch, MD, MS, MPH, MHAHSM) and doctoral (Ph.D.) courses in various areas.
