Bundelkhand Govt. Ayurvedic College & Hospital came into existence in 1934 under Servant’s of the nation society established by the first Member of Parliament of Jhansi Honorable Acharya Pt. Raghunath Vinayak Dhulekar ji. Who was also a freedom fighter and a social worker. The college is undertaken by the Uttar Pradesh State Government in 1974. Initially the college was affiliated to the Kanpur University (Now called Chhatrapati Sahu ji Maharaj University Kanpur) and later on affiliated to Bundelkhand University Jhansi since 01 July 2015 for academic session 2016-2017. The college has comprehensive facilities for teaching, inexhaustible resources for medical and allied research and provides credible patient care. The college purpose is to bring together in one place, educational facilities of the highest order for the training of self sufficient personnel in all important branches of health activity.
