The institution was started in 1935 as private college in Hyderabad State by pioneering Vaidyas like Shri.ShankarPrashadHargovind, Sri, M.RangaCharya, Sri.D.RamanaRaju, Sri.Janardhan, Sri.RamanujamSwamy, Sri.RadhaKishanji, and Sri. Narsing Prasad Markandeya and Sri Ramadas.
