Govt. Dental College Thiruvananthapuram, the first Government Dental College in the state, started in the year 1959. Over the decades, the college has earned the reputation of being the best dental college in the State and South India. The college is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur from 2010 admission onwards. Until then, the institution was under the University of Kerala. The institute offers dental and oral health care education and patient service at multiple levels.
