Maharashtra Education Society Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Ratnagiri is one of the reputed Private Ayurvedic Colleges in Maharashtra. The college is popularly known as MES Ayurvedic College Ratnagiri established in the year 2007. MES Ayurvedic College Ratnagiri has affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and is approved by Central Council of Indian Medicines. The area is rich in medicinal plants, which is beneficial to the College. Secondly, the harsh geographical conditions have caused the area to remain backward and there was a dire necessity to extend medical services.
