Process of NEET PG Counselling 2024

The NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) is a nationwide entrance examination in India for students seeking admission to various postgraduate medical courses. Administered by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), NEET PG is a crucial step for medical graduates aspiring to pursue advanced studies and specialization in various branches of medicine. Important Steps of NEET PG 2024 Counselling

The NEET Counselling process is a series of steps mentioned below.

  • Registration: The journey commences with the online registration process. Candidates must provide details such as NEET PG 2024 exam information, personal particulars and preferences for courses and colleges. This initial step sets the foundation for the subsequent stages of the counselling process.
  • Choice Filling: Following registration, candidates enter the phase of choice filling. This stage allows you to prioritize your preferences for postgraduate medical courses and institutions.   • Allotment Process: The allotment of seats is a crucial stage where a computerized algorithm optimises seat allocation based on merit, reservation categories and the choices filled by candidates. This process ensures a fair and transparent allocation of seats.

  • Fee Payment: Candidates securing seats through counselling must fulfil the financial element by paying the fees within the specified time. Rs. 4250 is the exam fee for General, OBC and EWS categories and Rs. 3250 is the exam fee for SC, ST and PWD categories as per the last year.

  • MBBS Degree Certificate and Marksheets
  • Internship Completion Certificate
