There are two types of cutoffs for government medical colleges
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ) Cutoff

- The Directorate General of International Health Services (DGHS), on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) provides ANC AIQ cutoff for Andhra Pradesh.
- 85% State Quota Cutoff
