Government Medical Colleges

There are two types of cutoffs for government medical colleges

  1. 15% All India Quota (AIQ) Cutoff
    • Students from Andhra Pradesh who are applying under the allotment of AIQ seats will have access to this cutoff.
    • The Directorate General of International Health Services (DGHS), on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) provides ANC AIQ cutoff for Andhra Pradesh.
  2. 85% State Quota Cutoff
    • In this case, students applying for the Interstate or Regional Quota will have their admissions based on a useful cutoff provided by each institution.
    • Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences at Vijayawada is responsible for announcing the MBBS State Quota in Andhra Pradesh.
Private Medical Colleges

Other cut off quotas on the other hand will integrate admission provisions based on the distinction of a State run University.

Private colleges have three types of cutoffs

  1. 50% State Quota Cutoff
    • NTR University of Health Sciences will make the State quota cutoff available for all private medical colleges.
    • This cutoff is available college wise and category wise under the provision of Private Medical Colleges.
  2. 35% Management Quota Cutoff
    • Management Quota cutoff released by the university for 35% of the seats in Private Medical colleges.
    • The cutoff is released in the format of online mode for various years, college and category.
  3. 15% NRI Quota Cutoff
    • The university publishes a separate college-wise and category-wise cutoff for students applying as per the 15% NRI Quota
