Autonomous State Medical College and Hospital is an academic health sciences center that has been established with an aim to provide leadership and excellence in the field of teaching, clinical care and service in a student-centered comprehensive campus.
ASMC is situated in Firozabad which is around 40 kms from Agra and 230 kms from Delhi. From early times, Firozabad was famous for glass and bangle works, and its related small scale industry is famous throughout the world.

The focus of the medical college is to provide high level and quality medical education to the students. The college also focuses on providing enabling working environment for the faculty and staff. The attached tertiary care hospital – District Hospital, Firozabad focuses on providing the latest medical services with a clean and safer environment to the patients. The hospital is focused to provide with excellent patient care facilities and aims to provide the students good opportunities to learn bedside manners and clinical skills. Principal & Dean

Dr. Sangeeta Aneja became the Principal & Dean of Autonomous State Medical College Society, Firozabad, affiliated to King George Medical University (KGMU) Lucknow, India in March 2019. She is an alumnus of the same college, having completed her MBBS and MD in Radio-diagnosis from there. Being a professor of Radio-diagnosis, she also headed the Department of Radio-diagnosis at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial (LLRM) Medical College, Meerut. Dr. Aneja also served as Principal at Government Medical College, Saharanpur for three years and later transferred as Director to Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida. In her 20 years of working experience, she has divided her time between diagnostics, teaching, and research. Dr. Sangeeta is a recognized M.D. guide and her interest is in medical education and specialized training in this area.
