Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences is a part of KIIT University. The institute is located in Bhubaneswar which has two units – the hospital and the medical college. KIMS Bhubaneswar provides MBBS & MD courses with a capacity of 100 seats. All the courses of the institute are recognised by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under the Government of India and the Medical Council of India (MCI). Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences is located in Bhubaneswar. The nearest Airport to KIMS Bhubaneswar is Bhubaneswar Airport which is approximately 14 kms away and it takes 16-20 mins to reach the institute. Students can hire a cab or book an auto from the Airport and reach the campus. Students reaching the city by train can get down at Bhubaneswar Railway Station which is about 12 kms away and would approximately take 14 mins to reach the institute. City buses are also available to reach the campus.
