Sikar is one of historical cities in shekhawati region of rajasthan. It is well known for its magnificent art,culture & padharo mahare desh tradition. In 1687 Rao Daulat Singh laid down the first foundation of new thikana Sikar at Beer Bhan Ka Bass & built the fort here. Rao raja Kalyan Singh was the last ruler of Sikar ( 1922—1967 ) who had been famous for building magnanimous places, temples & ponds.
