B.V.Sc. & A.H. is undergraduate program that comes under medical discipline. It deals with the study
of medical diagnostics, and treatment of diseases of the animals.BVSc AH courses include jobs such
as Veterinary Doctor, Veterinary Research Scientist, Animal Breeders, Veterinary Officers, Veterinary
Surgeon, Junior Veterinary Doctor etc. After BVSc AH, students can opt for further studies such as MVSC, or other master veterinary courses.

Veterinary Council of India is a statutory body established under the Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984.
It receives 100 % grants–in–aid from the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Ministry of
Fisheries Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India to meet the cost of running the offices of
the Council.
