Markazu Ssaquafathi Ssunniyya has proposed the Markaz Unani Medical College & Hospital in 2010 with an objective to provide professional health care education in Unani System of medicine to the general public. The Markaz Unani Medical College & Hospital has been approved by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India and National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, New Delhi. The College has obtained the NoC by the Govt. of Kerala and consent of affiliation by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. The College is situated at Puthuppadi, Kozhikode, Kerala. The road National Highway 766 is on the facade of the hospital which connects Bangalore, Chennai and Thiruvanthapuram via Kozhikode. The college and the hospital is 40 KMs away from the Kozhikode Railway station and 60 Kms from Calicut International Airport.
